Once upon a time …
… At the age of three, a young girl from Kyiv began to smear the walls of her parent’s apartment with crayons and felt pens. It soon became obvious to her family that she was more than a little vandal and that she was truly passionate about drawing. So she was sent to several art schools to find more suitable canvases.
Six years later the young girl moved with her family to a small town in Lower Bavaria, South Germany. Not knowing the local language and with mostly strangers around her, she turned to her drawings as her main occupancy. She was then taken in by V. Shubov, a former teacher of the National Academy for Art in Moscow who taught her classical painting and helped to develop her understanding of the history of art.
Many years later the young girl has grown to become a woman and while much has changed since then, she kept her passion for drawings and art. As a result, she moved to Paris the "City of Art" to continuously educate herself and to seek inspiration from its artistic resources and galleries.
This little story encapsulates what you need to know about myself and my work. I wholeheartedly believe in the magic of illustrations and the power of the message they can bear. My objective in life is to delight and hopefully, even inspire people through my illustrations.
